Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Add macaroni and cook for 5 minutes.
Add broccoli to the pot and cook for another 4–5 minutes.
Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Add diced chicken and season with salt and pepper.
Cook until browned and cooked through, about 7 minutes.
Add garlic, honey, and soy sauce.
Simmer for 1–2 minutes until sticky and glazed. Set aside.
In the same pot, melt butter over medium heat.
Add flour and stir for 1 minute to form a roux.
Gradually whisk in the milk, avoiding lumps.
Cook until thickened, then stir in shredded cheese.
Add the drained pasta and broccoli. Mix well.
Fold in the honey garlic chicken and serve warm.
