Fragrant kaffir limes hollowed and filled with ultra-zingy sorbet for a bold citrus dessert that’s naturally refreshing, dairy-free and perfect to make ahead.
If you love bold, aromatic citrus flavours, these Frozen Kaffir Lime Sorbet Cups will instantly become your summer favourite. Each kaffir lime is hollowed, frozen, and filled with an ultra-zingy sorbet that bursts with natural fragrance. The result? A refreshing, dairy-free, make-ahead citrus dessert that looks stunning on the table and delivers pure, bright flavour in every bite. 🍋✨
The magic lies in the intensity of kaffir lime, a citrus that’s far more perfumed and complex than standard limes. Using both the pulp and the tops as lids adds a beautiful, natural presentation while keeping the sorbet vibrant and aromatic.
Stabilised with super neutrose and sweetened with glucose powder, the sorbet stays silky and scoopable, even after freezing—perfect for piping into the tiny shells.
Whether served as mini dessert bites, a refreshing finale to a rich meal, or part of a tropical tasting menu, these cups are guaranteed to impress.
Creating an ultra-smooth kaffir lime sorbet is all about balance:
A quick churn and a short freeze later, you’re ready to pipe beautifully defined swirls using a small fluted tip—simple yet visually refined.
As you prepare the shells, the kitchen fills with bright, floral kaffir lime perfume. Once the base is blended and chilled, the sorbet churns into a soft, luminous green mixture. Piping it into the frozen limes feels almost like working with citrus-scented gelato—smooth, soft, and irresistibly aromatic.
Pop the lids back on and you have perfectly portioned, naturally citrusy frozen treats ready for any occasion.
These zingy cups shine best when the menu needs something light and refreshing:
They keep beautifully in the freezer, so you can prep them well ahead of time.
Each kaffir lime becomes a tiny edible vessel of pure citrus energy—light, fragrant, tangy, and naturally irresistible. 🍈❄️ Whether you prepare them for a crowd or treat yourself to a few stored in the freezer, this dessert delivers the perfect blend of brightness, chill, and tropical fragrance.
Enjoy your beautifully zesty creation! 💚

Freeze the kaffir lime shells until very firm so the sorbet sets quickly without melting.
Chill the sorbet base thoroughly before churning for a smoother, finer texture.
Do not overfill the limes—leave a little space so the tops sit neatly without squeezing out the sorbet.
For extra aroma, zest one kaffir lime into the pulp before blending.
