Classic Spanish-style churros served with a rich dark chocolate sauce—crispy, indulgent, and perfect for sharing.
There’s something wonderfully nostalgic about fresh, hot churros — crisp on the outside, soft inside, and rolled in shimmering sugar. Paired with a velvety dark chocolate sauce, this Spanish classic becomes an irresistible treat perfect for sharing (or not 😉). Whether you’re preparing them for a weekend snack, a gathering with friends, or simply to satisfy a late-night craving, these churros deliver pure indulgence.
The magic lies in the simplicity: just a handful of pantry staples transformed into long, golden-fried strands of joy. The dough comes together in minutes, and piping them directly into hot oil creates that signature ridged exterior. Once coated in sugar, the churros become the perfect crunchy counterpart to the luscious chocolate sauce.
With a total time of just 20 minutes, this recipe fits beautifully into your Quick and Easy cooking lineup. Even if it’s your first time making churros at home, you'll be surprised at how effortlessly they fry up. And the chocolate sauce? Just heat, pour, whisk — done.
The dark chocolate sauce brings depth and balance. Made with milk, cream, and just a touch of sugar, it forms a glossy, silky dip that elevates the churros beyond simple fried dough. It’s rich without being overly sweet, making every bite dangerously addictive.
Once the dough is piped and fried to golden perfection, a quick toss in sugar transforms them into the iconic treat loved worldwide. Dip them generously into the warm chocolate sauce and enjoy every crunchy, melty bite. These churros are guaranteed to steal the show at any gathering — or simply brighten your afternoon.
Enjoy creating this classic street-food favourite at home, and don’t be surprised if it becomes a regular feature in your kitchen! 💛🇪🇸
