Instructions: Brewing the Perfect Chai Matcha Latte

  1. Blend Matcha and Chai In a small bowl, mix the matcha green tea powder with 60ml of boiling water. Whisk until smooth and set aside. Steep the chai tea bags in the remaining 180ml of boiling water for 5 minutes.

  2. Sweeten and Spice It Up Remove the tea bags and stir in the honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, cardamom, and salt.

  3. Heat and Froth Heat the milk in a saucepan or microwave until warm but not boiling. Froth the milk using a frother or by vigorously shaking it in a jar with a tight-fitting lid.

  4. Time to Combine Divide the matcha mixture between two mugs, followed by the chai tea mixture. Top each mug with frothed milk and stir gently to combine. If desired, dust with extra matcha powder or cinnamon.
