Editorial Policy
RecipeShare is operated by Anahaw Street Limited. This page explains how we approach public recipe, topic, tag, and story content on recipeshare.app.
What We Publish
RecipeShare publishes:
- original RecipeShare Test Kitchen recipes
- editorial collection pages that help users browse related recipes
- cooking stories and guides connected to the site’s recipe library
- user tools for saving, organizing, and planning recipes
Public discovery pages are intended to help readers decide what to cook or how to cook it. Utility pages for accounts, meal planning, grocery lists, pantry lists, and similar workflows are separate from editorial content.
How We Review Content
Before public pages are published or substantially updated, we review them for:
- clarity and usefulness for a real cooking or browsing need
- originality and whether the page adds value beyond a simple list of links
- consistency between the title, page summary, and visible content
- duplicate, thin, or obviously padded sections
- misleading claims, fabricated reviews, or unsupported factual statements
Recipes And Practical Guidance
Recipe pages should prioritize the recipe card as the main source of truth. Supporting copy should add cooking context, troubleshooting, or serving advice rather than repeating the same ingredients and steps in multiple sections.
Where nutrition, yield, timing, or pricing information appears, it should be treated as an estimate and not as medical, dietary, or financial advice.
Rights, Attribution, And User Submissions
Users are responsible for ensuring they have the rights to content they submit. If we receive a credible rights complaint, attribution concern, or takedown request, we review it manually and may update, restrict, or remove the content.
To report a rights issue or request a correction, contact contact@recipeshare.app.
Corrections And Updates
We may revise pages to improve clarity, accuracy, structure, freshness, and compliance with site standards. When material errors are identified, we aim to correct them in a reasonable timeframe after review.
Advertising And Affiliate Disclosure
RecipeShare may display advertising and may use affiliate links on some pages. Commercial relationships do not override our editorial standards, and public content should remain useful even without ads or affiliate links.
